Cindy recently retired from her job as the manager of the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program where she worked for more than 20 years. Her essays and articles have been published in the LA Times, the Daily News, LA Parent Magazine and on various now-defunct websites. She says her best days are the ones that don’t begin with an alarm clock, and she’s happy to connect and compare notes with other grandparents and/or retirees who are also living the dream.
